GuerriLA Theatre is a mobile troop of professional actors presenting modern short plays detailing intricate aspects of the human condition. GuerriLA Theatre performs at university and private film schools, theatrical events, and benefit fund-raisers for non-profit organizations. We also offer unique "House Performances", held monthly at our picturesque location in the Hollywood Hills.

Over the past six months GuerriLA Theatre has searched for and researched plays from ancient to modern times that have experienced censorship. This process has led us on quite an adventure and we have unearthed plays that have not been seen, in many cases, by the smallest of audiences. With the inclusion of recognizable titles, we also look to give the audience a perspective on plays they know well yet were unaware had struggled with censorship.

"Out of Your Mind!” is your invitation to step into the surreal world of playwright Steven Kane.

Two stories comprise the darkly comic insanity of the evening. In one, a woman's dream state becomes more powerful and more important than her waking reality. The intrusion of a handsome stranger into her dream world may be the thing that sends her life into a different direction.

The other tale takes place in a dystopian future, in a place called New New York, where happiness in mandatory and legislated, and illness is a crime . Safety and conformity are all, and people’s lives are as programmed as the robots who do the household chores. One man with a sneeze defies the established order, and races to escape the wrath of the New New York.

Public Performances (House Performances, Benefits, Openings, etc):

• Travel is included within a 15 mile radius from Hollywood
• Travel beyond is billed at an additional $.40/mile per actor
• Lodging: $75 per diem per actor per night (single or double occupancy)
• Meals: $45 per diem per actor or two meals provided per day
All travel and transport expenses associated with air, train or bus travel are responsibility of client. Above diems apply to travel days as well.

Educational Performances (Film Schools, High Schools, etc):
$150 / play PLUS $50 per actor per hour beyond the basic performance
Travel and lodging rates apply.

GuerriLA Theatre is a non-profit 501(c) organization.  All fees, ticket purchases, and donations are tax deductible.
